Ganesha, they call him god of good beginnings, but to me he is the starting point to infinite imagination; not in any spiritual sense, but in every conceivable creative sense. Ganesha manifests himself in many forms to me. In numbers, in alphabets, in patterns, in motifs... I see my muse with a trunk everywhere. I paint, I draw and I mould him wherever I sit, stand or dream. My obsession led me to create over 4500 Ganeshas over these years in an attempt to create a world record with sheer number of styles and icons of a single form.
My experiments have taken me different paths, both contemporary and traditional, spanning across styles and art movements. It may be hard to imagine a gothic, retro , art nouveau, tribal, or even a minimalist Ganesha, but my creative wanderlust has treaded some interesting places with Ganesha across graphic design and art.
