Deuxième Marche

What best way to start 2016 than by helping out those who need help the most?

Partnering up with french community service association « Deuxième Marche », whose purpose is to help the homeless, we offered to put forward those who need help the most at this time of the year : homeless people. Our objective was to make them more visible by enabling them to express their dearest wish for 2016.

The idea: designing original, unique and visually impacting signs based on their personal wishes. A simple yet efficient manner to make their voices be heard and to give them more visibility, by calling out to the passers-by in an interesting way. We went to meet a few homeless people, to gather their wishes and dreams for the coming year. The agency then used its own network to call upon artists and graphic designers who could help design signs tailored to each wish. Each personalized sign was then given to a homeless person, who got to discover the graphic illustration of his own wish.

Their reactions upon discovering the signs, as well as the passers-by’s ones, was filmed and posted on the association’s website.

A crowfunding system was also put in place to encourage people to lend them a helping hand and help make their wishes come true.
