Project Concept: Laser-Cut Lamp Shade
Each template would be cut into two thin sheets of wood and a sheet of tissue paper or comparable material would be glued between them. Four completed templates fit together into a rectangular box. 

The template allows the user to add special designs to the original model such as:

Cityscape

Fairy Tale 

Library

Fantastic Tree

Tropical Island

The template can also be reworked for three-panel openings or any shape or size.

This allows for full theme lampshades like this Zodiac set.

In addition, the templates can be painted or stained prior to assembly and the tissue paper can be stained with food coloring or watercolor after assembly to add color to the effect.

The rings fit into the top and bottom slot to secure the construction and sit on and around the light source.
