Series of 4 unique screen prints.

Whilst working for Leeds Beckett University, I learnt the value of experimentation within screen printing, I wanted to install this creative process into students allowing them to see the abilities of experimentation within printmaking.

This body of work takes students original artwork created within their studies and by overlaying these images I have created an abstract representation of all the students creative minds working together. These works were created over a period of 3 months during the last term of the school of art, a period in which the students are fine tuning their projects for assessment and adding the finishing touches. These pieces consist of artwork from projects about various different topics, examples being an exploration of numbers, a study of roadmaps in Leeds refining the streets into a geometric composition, The Rwandan genocide, a photographic documentation based on the allotments in Burley(Leeds), the restoration of a family morris motor. and a first year introduction to screen printing, which was mainly focussed on the overprinting technique shown within this project.
