Interactive Infographic - The Great War

Interactive PDF modified infographic derived from "Designing an Infographic" by Nigel French / Lynda.com. From the original tutorial, many of the graphics were changed and the overall layout. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Audition were used in the design of this project. The file is an interactive PDF with mouseovers to reveal various "Easter Eggs".
Objective: To visually provide causes, events, and statistics on WW1.
Target Audience: High school - higher education.
Above: The Great War. This is layout of the design with no interactivity shown.

Above: A timeline mouseover with information about a soldier that fought in WW1. When the mouseover is initiated, an original song that I have written plays depicting the soldier's experience using storytelling to create a more personal experience for the user.
Above: An example of another timeline mouseover. Each person on the timeline at the bottom of this piece has their own original song.
Above: As you mouseover the the Great War title, various recruitment posters of WW1 are revealed. This is Canadian recruitment poster.
Above: As you mouseover the the Great War title, various recruitment posters of WW1 are revealed. This is the United States recruitment poster.
Above: Along with the mouseovers in the Great War title, there are rollovers created for each of the items along the top for a visual of "firsts" category.
