Started of the project by creating random shapes with a dark brush.
Parts Choose after doing shading. With the exception of the top left one, which didn't fit with the others well.

The first look at using colour on the design. I choose blue as it has a calm feel to it, which i can use to give the flying machine a friendly look to it, if i decide that is how the machine is supposed to be perceived.
