Since the Cultural Revolution in China, traditional Chinese culture become less and less important in Chinese’ life; particularly for the traditional decoration in interior design, who only took a portion of less than 7% in the entire market. Thanks to the high development in art technologies, it might be possible to combine those gorgeous traditional patterns with daily items more closely which can make people more familiar with ancient Chinese culture. Specifically for this time, I reproduce some patterns of Chinese MING Dynasty (AD1368－1644) and try to explore a possibility to combine it with Contemporary Pattern Art (1960－Now).
