A0 PRESENTATION BOARD
The Kenya Archery Association is the chosen client for my project. They currently do not have a fixed shooting ground, therefore have been renting out different fields for shooting around Nairobi, Kenya.
Existing Twiga Center in Parklands sports Club Nairobi, Kenya. This is the chosen site to be renovated into a space for the Kenya Archery Association. An ideal location due to the open front of the building, looking down on to the club's sports field.
CONCEPT - DYNAMIC STASIS. Dynamic represents the archers form when shooting, it describes the bow shape and lines it creates when in tension and movement. Stasis is the existing structure of the Twiga Sports Center. By bringing the two together, the Dynamic Stasis is formed.
FOCUS AREA (STAIRCASE AND DOUBLE HEIGHT SPACE).
Creation of a dynamic structure representing the kinetic movement of an archer, the danger of a bow and the tension within it, until it's released.

Tensile Cables running through mezzanine level up to the roof creating a tense and attractive atmosphere for the users to experience as they walk through.
