Street Theatre was a collaboration between creatives and academics; using performance art to convey scientific ideas. Five short plays were crafted based on University of Bristol research and were performed around Bristol to work alongside Bristol Bright Night.
I created the BNHC and CPE websites for the project, documented and evaluated the event and crafted the social media strategy. I wrote and published a public engagement story about Street Theatre.
Almost 600 members of the public watched performances throughout the day. People often asked for further information about the research. This project was run with the help of Public Engagement and Events Assistant Hannah Berg at the Centre for Public Engagement.
