As the school year came to an end, my fears of what I was going to do with my life multiplied. That's when I remembered that we all have fears we have to deal with. Every. Last. One of us. We all live in fear, whether it's a fear of the dark or of death. But I've always been a firm believer that art has the power to express those fears, and ultimately save us.
I asked my friends to be honest and open, telling them my biggest fear so they'd trust me with theirs. Maybe, somehow, seeing another person's fear in a physical sense will help others realize that we're all a little afraid of something, maybe even the same things. We're not alone in our fears.
So, what are you afraid of?
