It should really be no surprise the statistics of this piece because we are after all talking about Facebook. However, when I read some of the statistics, I couldn't believe it. As I was doing thumbnails, the phrase 'Obsessive Facebook Disorder' popped into my head and i decided to go with that idea/term. Multiple statistics or infographs sit insite an iMac which is attached to shoulders of a person and on the iMac is the homepage of Facebook. When thinking of this original concept and doing thumbnails, I really enjoyed the idea of hand done line work with digital coloring. I felt that my way of doing the line work really played on that 'disfunctional' style i was going for. I kept the color scheme simple, mainly following facebook's colors and a few accents. Most of the statistics are based in the united states except for the two that are in the center of the computer screen.
