This concept was to redesign the experience of riding public transport in Israel. Nowadays you have to go to a train station and buy a physical card. You need to take a picture in case your card is stolen. If your card is stolen it's a painful process to get it back. You need to carry cash to top up at the station or on the bus when other people are trying to get on as well. You can't easily see what rides you have on your card. To see how much money you have left you first have to go on a trip and then look at the receipt that you get.
This fixes all that and more.
Hopefully, we'll see this concept used around the world for other public transport systems. They need to be upgraded.
