Roney International
logo design, branding, website design, identity design
Roney International is an mass-notification systems architect and design company. When Roney approached us about helping them with a website, we realized they actually needed more than just a website design; they needed an entire branding system.

Roney's former logo did not achieve what owner Don and his son Kelly were wanting from their mark. They wanted, "a logo to reflect the type of work we do and something that looks good embroidered on a polo shirt or hat." Their final logo resembles a birds-eye view of a funnel system (tornado or hurricane) with their "R" safely placed in the eye of the storm. This is to show how they aid in notifying the general public during a storm or life-threatening event, bringing calm to safety to an otherwise dangerous situation. The color red is generally seen as a color of danger especially within warning systems; therefore, it's the main color of their new brand (as opposed to the former green).

From there, we continued their branding into their business cards and a Brand Manual (see images 3 and 4 for samples) so they are able to incorporate their new look into their brochures, fliers, etc. which they create themselves. The final step of this phase of their project was to create a website to notify the public of their capabilities.

After completion of this project, Vice President of Roney International Kelly Roney had this to say about working with us:
Working with 4th Leaf was a pleasure. Roney International hired them to work on our graphic logo and branding. They offered fantastic insight and the creativity that we were seeking. They were unfamiliar with our industry but took the time and effort to gain knowledge of the emergency management world in order to supply our company with a logo and brand design that we proudly put on display. They continually offer further help when needed, well after our project was completed. We will hire them again without hesitation.
