PART 2: TEXT PITCH, STORY BOARD, STORY CONCEPT

TEXT PITCH- The animation that I will do is about two boys in one body. A "good self" and a "bad self." By making paper stop motion, I am going to draw clips of how the good self realizes that he has an evil self. He realizes until the evil self controls the body of the good self. I am also going to draw clips of worry and insanity in his eyes (where I am going to use exaggeration on) of the good self, when the evil self talks to him in his head, by doing lip syncing. Then, I will draw clips of the good self, doing a walk cycle towards the mirror, looking at the evil self at the mirror. When looking at the mirror, we first see the back view of the good self and the front view of the evil self for the first few frames, then the next few frames, we see the side view of the good self and only the hand of the evil self. At the begining of the story, I am going to use appeal for the face of the good self, to see that the good self is exhausted and tired, like he didn't slept, or left his room. For the music backround, i am choosing something that has only a piano, playing a calm, sad song, then when it hits the worry and insanity part, the piano goes all hard core. The music reminds you of being alone, and having a battle between yourself and your inner soul that should not be let out. When it goes to the very end, where the mirror scene is at, there is an anticipation of the evil self, putting his hand out of the mirror and grabbing the good self (when the good self leans towards the mirror a bit closer).
STORY CONCEPT- Title: "The Looking Glass Self"
                              - dark room
                              - lamp standing on a desk
                              - desk with pencil and paper on it
                              - "Good Self" (Eros): messy, black hair
: polo shirt with buttons, slightly undone
: looks like he's exhausted and tired, like he's never slept, or left his room
                                                             : with glasses
                              > thinking of something to write for tomorrows report
                              > in confusion, his hand shakes
                              > frightened, his shaking hand writes something down
                              > the evil self talks in his head, he goes all paranoid and insane and yells
                              > follows the evil self's orders, leans in, and the evil self puts his hand out of the mirror and grabs him
                              - "Evil Self" (Thantos): beautiful, lucious, black hair
                                                                : v- neck shirt
                                                                : cool calm and collected
                              > making the good self paranoid and a bit insane, that he's too frightened to talk and just follow his orders.
                              > his purpose is to make the good self disappear with him, so he could be removed from planet earth and                                    from people's memories who are special to him.
