Baby Cot - Prototype
I have made this cot for my newly born baby boy. I was asked by my wife to create a cot which will be one side open , so we could attach it to our bed .This cot is modular in the sense that it could be used as an open cot attached to a bigger bed or as an ordinary structure.The cot is made from Flat surfaces (Birtch ply) cut in a CNC machine - Datron M8 based on my cad files.It Total it has taken me 12 hours to produce a full assembled cot.
This model has been machined by a high speed micro milling machine.All parts were the exact outcome based on my cad files.
The cot could be opened or closed and at the same time parts could be disassembled if needed.
First prototype was done after few hours.
The cot is attached to the frame of the bed.
The cot is strong enough to hold an adult standing on it - up to 100Kg.
