Here is an assignment given in school to take one of our favorite band or musician and create an album cover for an already existing one. This band’s logo or mascot is a saber tooth tiger with four eyes. So my first step was creating a believable four eyed tiger. I brought up the stroke on the font inside the tiger’s teeth to give it an aggressive spiked look to contrast the floral rainbow texture in the background. I added some playful blurbs of fake rainbow blood since the head is meant to be cut off. I took inspiration from the humor of older cartoon treating body gore and added in a bone and fake meat to the neck on the back cover. Overall this cover really takes in the personality and craziness of the band and compliments the loud nature of their music.
