Water's Edge - Interactive Touch Table Exhibit

Designed for North Vancouver's Museum and Archive, this touch table incorporates archival maps and historic imagery into its visual design. It allows users to interact with maps and events through six distinct periods in history, presenting a higher level view of the ecosystems that once existed in Vancouver's earliest settlements.
I created several wireframes and mockups to identify the best places for the menu and scrolling mechanics.
I then took the wireframes into Axure and made an interactive prototype to test the flow from one screen to the next.
Working with archived maps of Vancouver's North Shore, I filled in missing areas with Photoshop and aligned them geographically using Photoshop.
I did look development and created several mood boards to determine the colour, mood and setting that would form the look of the UI.
After many versions, here are the final screens as delivered to the client for development and integration.
