Digital Sketching Exercises

In a new series of my work, I will be experimenting with digital media, my first work will be a series of digital sketching exercises as I grow accustomed to unfamiliar software. This project will be updated often. Some may follow tutorials, while others may rely on reference images/underlays.
A guide was used here to get a bearing for the software, the strong lines of a modern home design allows for mistakes to be hidden within the sketch, while maintaining a professional feel.
Here I gather an appreciation for lighting within a sketches, and representing surfaces through reflectivity.
Following an online tutorial, I gained an insight into layering techniques, along with the use of simple tools,
i.e. black/white airbrush, harmonious colours.
Retro styling promotional layout for a relatively modern appearing sports car.
Working with texture effects help define particular materials used, or a certain 'feel' desired.
Here I am also developing gradients that define light sources.
Another digital sketching where the focus was on light sources and appropriate shading.
Tools used: Sketchbook Pro, Microsoft Surface Pro 4
Udemy tutorial: Wacom Sketching Crash Course - Marouane Bembli
