The path along the Guadalupe River Trail follows a dried up river encased in concrete between small parks scattered along its route. The transitional space between the parks, which weaves between city blocks at the surface level, discourages exploration and walking due to its uninviting appearance.
It is my aim to encourage citizens to walk the trail and I plan on doing this by creating a friendlier, more inviting image for the trail. Effectively, my changes will morph the space between green parks and gray streets to create a more cohesive experience which will invite more exploration and change the atmosphere of the trail.
