For this group project, Jo Shin, Grace Miller, Iltimas Doha, and I decided to make a camouflage costume so that we could blend into the Houston Street scenery. The costumes were made of repurposed materials: used plastic bags, paper bags, plastic cups, paper, as well as paint and gum. In short, they were made of trash. We wanted to comment on how garbage in the streets has become so common that we no longer notice it.
