BRISTOL OBSCURA
Bristol Obscura is a publication based on my experience of moving to Bristol. I went round the city taking pictures on a film camera to give appreciation to the ins and outs of the City that I now live in, without focusing on the tourist points. I wanted to highlight the normality of the city, which I was once a stranger to. My introduction expands on this. I used black and white imagery throughout, as well as occasionally some light illustrations over some of the photographs. This project was particuarly inspiring for me, as I based it around my own experience and was able to describe exactly how I felt at the time.
