Stiff Records logo
A refreshed identity for the punk, post-punk and pop label that used the classic version of its logo as its starting point. The letter forms have been condensed while the whole shape is softened through the removal of the distinctive lightning bolt-like S - then creating a consistent topline/midline that contrasts with its more irregular baseline/beardline.

Making its iTunes debut in 2012 when applied to the re-release of Tenpole Tudor's 1981 hit 'Swords of a Thousand Men', it was initially created with brand new Stiff material in mind.
