War of the Words is an annual event organised by Typeradio which exposes the technical and elaborate world of typography, whilst discussing the themes of both modernism and post-modernism.
For this project I first of all created an event poster which involved a hiarachy between loactions, dates, keynotes ect. Then to support the event, I produced a publication which discloses articles and essays from speakers, background information on designers as well as inspiration from the leading trends and quotes of admiration.
The publication has a colour palette to reference the two themes at peace and war with each other; yellow and blue.
Each page has been individually tailored to the author with photographs of them, and colour stregth in referance to their views on modernism/postmodernism.
(The event poster above - below is images of the publication, which was perfect bound with the front cover being a weight of 350gsm, and the inside spreads using 120 gsm on uncoated.)
