iPhone Gesture Browser
Frustrated with the lack of innovation in iPhone web browsers, I was inspired to mock up an alternative: a clean, efficient way to navigate the Internet. Though visual affordances are extremely helpful for encouraging immediately intuitive use, the more recent success of Clear (a to-do app for iOS) shows that invisible interfaces work smoothly when there is minimal variety of interaction.
Though this work is outdated and has been improved upon, the core concepts are as relevant today as ever.
