Fund-raising piece for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity
The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity are a world-leading innovation centre who pioneers in new diagnosis, treatments and care for their patients, which included an Emperor colleague, Jill, until her passing in July 2015.
During most of 2015, Emperor arranged a number of events to help fund-raise for the Royal Marsden. This included a Silent Auction where items were donated by staff, friends and clients. A catalogue and an auction site were created to display the items and to aid bidding.
The design of the catalogue was to be bold and eye-catching, showing off all the amazing items on offer. This was created by using a bright spot yellow, strong typography and large imagery. To give the catalogue a bit of character and additional standout, it was produced at a bespoke size, (slightly smaller than A3) and printed on newsprint stock, unstapled.
The auction contributed to a total fund-raising amount of over £100K.
The Auction was launched during another Emperor fund-raising event - a cinema night at the Barbican, where those who attended donationed through the purchase of their ticket, and were each given a copy of the catalogue.
