For a class our assignment was to create a fictional company that worked with renewable resources.  I created Green Thumb Technologies, a bioenergy company.  The websites we made had to feature an infographic that showed how the renewable energy source worked.  The big thing about bioenergy is that it comes from plants and trees, so I wanted to express this path in a way that emphasized the nature behind it.  Thus the road to becoming a biofuel was born along the trunk of a tree.

The logo I created for the company features a thumbprint with a leaf built into the lines.  I wanted both an iconic symbol and name to show which renewable resource this company worked with.  It also needed to contain a color scheme that reflected well with the message and nicely stylized type.
