Two hour long durational Performance that was part of the 2nd Floor Rear Performance Festival. The Location is Wicker Park, Chicago IL.
The Performance contained 60 quotes from various uncited text sources that were placed randomly on the trees of the small triangular park. At each tree soil would be dug from the ground and Hay's would then pressed to wash her hands with the mud finishing the ritual with posting the quote and moving on to the next tree. This created a non-linear text. Those who vist the park could read this text and take a quote with them.
In the center of the park is a fountain which many homeless rest. In a far corner a dog park. In another a recreation center.
