”Främlingen” (”The stranger”) straightforwardly describes the life of Mersault, the main character. I wanted to design a cover inspired by this style of writing, which is why i chose a simple and clear design with a few strong focus points. I chose to work with a mirror set into the book itself as the story looks into the nature of humanity and who we are as people. Mersault at one point looks into mirror and barely recognizes himself. That is what I wanted to replicate with the mirror - the experience of seeing yourself in an unexpected way
