Last week I went with the industrial metal music band Mind Driller to a live show at sala El Sol, in Madrid.
My boyfriend Jordi is their new drummer and this was his first show with the band.
He asked me to join them so I could do some kind of a travel photo diary. I didn't know them personally yet and I have to admit that after seeing some pictures of their shows I thought that they would be a bit creepy... And to be honest it isn't neither the kind of music I would listen to in a normal day.
Well, I couldn't be more wrong. I had fun from the beginning until the end.
They made enjoyable an endless van road trip from Alicante to Madrid.
About the show...What a fucking performance, seriously.
Having the privilege of being firsthand witness of their evolution was so great, how they slowly became that kind of character of the circus of the horrors impressed me.
It amazed me to see how they rise up on the stage, each of them playing or singing so sure of themselves and enjoying it as if there was no tomorrow.
Now I understand why they have so many and so loyal fans.
