These three pockets under the front flap hold my phone, cards and other devices. The snap is magnetic and there is top stitching throughout the bag as can be seen on the top of these front pockets. 

This is the main compartment of the bag, with four pockets for pens and other miscellaneous items that otherwise would end up at the bottom of the bag. 

This is the back of the bag which has a pocket that is the size of the back panel, large enough to hold a planner and address book which would be in the way in the main compartment, or sheets of paper which would get crumpled otherwise. I used an invisible zipper so that the eye is not distracted from the beauty of the vinyl. 

This is the back pocket which is the full size of the back panel.
