"Zeitgeist" is the dissertation project which was realised as a final coursework during my Graphic Design course at IED.
We were briefed to pick a reknown charachter from any field or time that inspired us and design a book accordingly. I chose Peter Savillle, who has been the art director and graphic designer at the British music label Factory Records and who designed cover artworks for famous albums such as Joy Division and Happy Mondays among many others.

During a visual journey that took me through the historic avantguardes and the art movements of the 70s and and 80s, I came up with hypothetical cover artworks for some of my favourite tracks taking under account Peter Saville's own style and approach.
