While working at a popular bar in DC, I often took it upon myself to design updated chalkboard menus behind the bar. Based on the positive feedback from those efforts, I was commissioned to design a seasonal menu for both inside and outside bar staff and outside waiters. Since content varied slightly, each menu was color coordinated to each staff member.
The inside menu consisted of five pages designed to flip up vertically on a menu board. The outside menus for both bar staff and waiters were double sided single sheets.
