Forecast Of Homelessness
Brief:
With thousands seeking emergency accommodation, the forecast of homelessness was dire. The Simon Community, couldn't cope with the demand for shelter. they needed a campaign to say: "This is a code red emergency and we need to act".
Idea:
We created a video for The Simon Community to tackle the problem of Homelessness in Ireland.
They also wanted to drive people to sign a position to urge the Government to take action. They desperately needed 10,000 signatures for maximum impact so we supported it with a high impact email and social media campaign.
For maximum impact and conversation we cast well-known weatherman Martin King, to deliver a shocking forecast of homelessness to the country.
The video led to10,000 signatures on an online petition to end homelessness sent straight to Leinster House in a plea to end homelessness in Ireland.
