NHL on NBC is one of the biggest properties on NBC Sports and this is a storyboard for the Open of this television event.

I am including these design frames to highlight my conceptual and storyboarding skills.  Before diving into a project, one has to establish the goals and objectives.  A simple story line is developed, along with colors, fonts, and stylistic directions.  The essence of this particular Open is a timeline, from the begging of the game - face off, through the struggle and rivalry, to the winning goal and final victory and celebration.  It’s also a timeline from the beginning of the season to the ceremony of the Stanley Cup.  All of this drama is visually connected by fast moving glass bands that mimic the shapes and curves of a hockey rink.
