Of all the various forms of artistic expression I have attempted throughout my life, I finally have discovered the one that is the most satisfying and freeing--the art movement known as "Found Art".
Early in my artistic journey it became apparent that I was drawn to story telling in my creative process. Using objects as my inspiration, I weave a narrative that explores multiple layers of consciousness.
It is exciting to take disparate objects such as a child's toy, a scrap of cloth, a button and a weathered utensil and experience the process through which they are transformed into vital elements in a study of morality, beauty, spirituality, and infinitely more.
There is certainly no right or wrong way to interpret these "little worlds" I create. I enjoy learning of the responses from my "audience". I hope you will enjoy engaging in this mutual journey of discovery.
