Redesign the classic children story, Cinderella. With the story they are looking for a revision of the original story but keep the story line and theme. Each page needs to have an interesting finishing technique added to it.
I was inspired by the original Disney Movie. I wanted to keep the feeling of the classic story by using pastel colors, swirl decorative pieces, and a blackletter typeface. I used different finishing techniques to add emphasis on different parts of the story. Each blackletter letter has a foil finish on it. Other techniques I used were texture on Cinderella’s blue dress and a pop up of the castle.
