OOAK Sculptures: Woodland spirit Auspex

Auspex (Latin) is " prophetic seer on the flight of birds", "patron", "Guardian", " bringing good tidings". As you can see he has two pair of eyes: one is for Present and another is for the Future.

This spirit cares about birds and their rest. He rarely shows to people, lives in the ancient thickets in the heart of the forest. He has thick tough skin and stiff hair, formed into different patterns. Smooth rounded horns grow on his head haphazardly.Fingers on the forelimb of this creature resemble fingers of the apes, and on the hind limbs they turned into sharp hooves. He makes birdhouses and hangs them in the woods.

This spirit can come to the rescue, protect, nourish and provide accommodation for those who care for nature and help the forest. If the human is really good with pure soul and thoughts, Spirit can tell fortunes him on birds, warn of impendingfuture hazards and give advice on how to avoid it.
