This Infographic Poster was created using Adobe Illustrator for the purpose of informing today's youth about the displaced people in Iraq. Most teens were unaware of the situation and were easily able to see how doing without one "luxury" a day could enable them to help someone the same age in a much worse situation. As shown below, a lot of research and planning went into creating a poster that would impact the American youth and inspire them to make a difference!

Data was collected from Americans of all ages on how much each spent on needed and wanted items. These numbers were then compared to the needs of Iraq and the cost to provide them to the displaced.

Variations of new design concept to add a heirarchy and classic, easy to follow, layout. Trying to deside on a final, limited, color palette.
Final Color Palette and layout for infographic. Grids and guides were used to create consistency throughout the piece. The overall piece was meant to be clean and classic without spatial distractions.
Upon completion of the inforgraphic poster, testing was performed to ensure that teens were able to follow the given information, clearly understand the situation, and feel inspired to help out.
