Editorial spread design, senior acknowledgements, and gate fold layouts created using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign. Many of the incorporate design elements were handwritten or hand drawn. I either created these spreads in full or completed them by leading a team and making final adjustments and edits. All of these spreads can be found in the Valor Volumes 1-4. (2010-2014)
I created all color photographs in the top layout as well as the design of both compositions. These two senior sections were designed to be stacked on top of one another so they were planned out carefully with color placement as well as points of emphasis. Century Schoolbook Type was used to keep consistency in an already busy design.
8 page gatefold that folded outward from the center of the publication to add an unexpected element and make it unique for other annuals. All doodles were hand drawn and all of the layout's design elements were assembled in Adobe InDesign.
I created this style sheet to ensure consistency was achieved throughout a publication. This was also used for editing spread designs as well as checking for accuracy.
