Le Double M
As I have a graffiti and street art background, a friend of mine once asked me if I wanted to paint his foodtruck. At the time, he was a hardworking man trying to launch his own business.
He found this place he could park near the road to start selling his fantastic sandwiches and wanted to turn his old truck in a big ad you could easily see from your car while driving. The day I spent painting this truck was a great moment, I had fun doing this and i hope you will feel the pleasure emanating from these vintage pictures.
I wanted the whole piece to have an old american diner touch.
As my friend's project is named Double M, I worked on the "double" idea. The two sides of the truck are two parts of the same picture. And as you'll see, a lot of things are doubled.
