Brief –
YMCA, who run the skateparks in Australia, and Victorian Skateboard Association (VSA) approached us to brand Skate Club. It is OK to talk about skate club by the way…
Parents. It was all about the parents. The flyer was to appeal to parents, not kids. VSA wanted to get "more kids skateboarding". The best way is to show parents skating is a safe, fun and safe (did we say safe) environment for their kids.
Qualified instructors teach the fundamentals of safe skating to kids who may have never skated before.
 
Response –
We tailored a slick and professional look and feel, rather than the paint-splattered graffiti driven atypical skater aesthetic. This enabled the parents to have a more positive reaction to skateboarding than they'd otherwise have. 
We then created a set of stickers to be given to kids who take part, offering a limited edition collector series we can then add to when needed.
Heaps of fun and a great result.
