The United States Global Survey is a scientific organization that studies the earth, its natural resources and hazards. The organization studies four main disciplines which are biology, geography, geology, and hydrology.
One of the main components that they focus on, are earthquakes.
This logo is designed to correspond to actual earthquake data through movement of the logo. The logo reflects different characteristics of an earthquake. These characteristics include the type of earthquake, which are divergent, convergent, and transform. The location, which is represented by color, and magnitude, which is the strength of the earthquake.
