A blossoming flower, it's petals opening allowing guests within it's heart.
The concept is based in nature, providing a unique cultural destinationfor the people of Taiwan. The landmark design is in response to theneeds of a city, a people and their culture.The three theatres of the Taipei Performing arts centre are housed withinthe individual petals of a flower bud. Independent but as one.
The centre is designed to provide space for a wide variety of performance.Both local and international arts can be practiced here. It includesareas for schooling and practice, and has the ability to adapt tomeet needs into the future.
More than a performance centre, it is a central meeting place, a destination.It houses boutique shops and restaurants, and a direct transport link serving as a gateway to traditional street markets.
