Concept

As reported by Ashley & Boehlke (2012), prevention is one of the most effective ways for addressing the problem of gambling addiction. That is why the basic idea developed through the application, is that of responsible gambling; the idea of control; "if you wish to bet at least do it responsibly,  to avoid gambling addiction and its negative consequences".

Also I chose to consider the idea that the big win, in gambling, is determined purely by chance. In order to support this argument, we have to recognize that as 'lucky' can be named all the games where the time period between betting and effect is direct. Furthermore games of luck can be divided in two basic categories: chance-based games and skill-based games. In chance-based games (ex. slots, craps, roulette, Keno, bingo) the player has equal chances to win or lose. This means that even if he/she loses three times in a row the odds of winning do not change. In skill games (ex. sports betting, card games, horse racing), it is possible to improve the chances of winning – by learning more about the game itself or developing skills as a player – as the player has to make decisions that can affect the outcome of the game in terms of strategy. However, luck still plays a big role, since regardless of the player's skill level, no one can predict ex. the cards.

Based on the above in the 1st poster series gambling is presented as a daily habit that affects the daily life of our character.
On the 2nd series the unpredictable aspect of gambling is faced; the inability of the player to predict whether he/she is about to win or lose. So the unexpected occurs through a series of unforeseen circumstances.
