This is the first production company logo I designed, I called it ‘Target’ Productions because the film company targets certain audiences. For our film, Target Productions has targeted the film at 15 to 25 year olds of both sexes. I designed it as a target in the background because of the name and made it red so it contrasts with the black background and the white font. In the word ‘Productions’ I made a film reel in the ‘O’ which represents filming for the production company.

This was the second production company logo I designed. I came up with the title, ‘Millennium’ Studios which means a period of a thousand years. This implies that the company has been and will be around for a long period of time and so the company has had time to be built up and improved on to become a successful filming company. The Roman numerals in the background emphasise the name ‘Millennium’ Studios as they are from a the past and aren’t used in clocks today. I used the same colour scheme as the other production company logo so they tie in together as they work together for producing films. The font colour for ‘Millennium’ is a brighter red than for the ‘Studios’ so it suggests it is of a bigger significance in the name.
