The Cambridge Eating Disorder Center

Client: Cambridge Eating Disorder Center
Project Duration: September 2014–July 2015
Design: Christopher Santoro & Jeremiah Louf
Agency: known.creative, LLC

The Cambridge Eating Disorder Center is a rehabilitation and wellness center in Harvard Square, that has helped young women overcome their eating disorders for the past 15 years. In our initial stages of working with them, we realized that while there were some brand elements "present", they were not being closely adhered to. As a result, we saw an opportunity to not only refresh the CEDC brand, but unite all materials under brighter visuals and messaging.

At known.creative, LLC, I helped in the design of the newly refreshed identity system. As CEDC was a 15-year old legacy, we felt no need to go back to the drawing board with the logo, but we cleaned it up, modernized it and made it better for production. After choosing the typefaces and newly simplified color palette, I spearheaded the design of all branded and marketing collateral, including a BMI Wheel for patient-care use.
