The GMO Labeling Campaign was created in association with LabelGMOs.org. The focus is a booklet called 10 Things You Should Know About Genetically Modified Organisms that would be given out at local farmers markets or health conscious grocery stores. The booklet supplies users with ten major facts that discuss what GMOs are, how they’re currently effecting us, animals, farmers, and the earth. It discusses current labeling laws and issues as well as supplying them with numerous shocking statistics. The design was inspired by the weird science that is associated with GMOs, as well as the unnatural disruption and effects brought on to these crops and animals. The images and type have also been manipulated in the same manner. The booklet ends with a call to action asking readers to vote for GMO labeling and transparency in our food supply. To accompany that I’ve also created a series of postcards that feature one of the facts and again remind readers to vote.
