At Citizens State Bank of La Crosse, they love soup. I was comissioned to design a logo and membership cards for their monthly soup club. They asked for something that was cohesive with their existing red and black logo, had a dash of bank recognition, and was as unique as the people in the club.
Above: Here you see the stand alone logo close-up. The circular motif is consistent throughout the design creating a sharp, simple, and visually pleasing logo. Steam rising from the soup bowl spells out CSB (or Citizens State Bank) and adds the requested dash of bank recognition while still staying unique.
Below: Applied to text the circular logo replaces the "O" in soup, an appropriate and cheeky substitution for the membership cards.
Membership cards feature our logo applied to text. This is supplemented by member names and titles using a coordinating, sans serif font. Enlarged behind the member name an title is the "CSB" soup steam. This gives the look of an abstract pattern, but is actually acting as another element tying the design of the card together.
Bold elements, quirky member titles, and thoughts of warm soup make it so you can't help but smile when seeing these cards!
