'Objetos da Mente' - 'Mind Objects'

"Objetos da Mente" (translated as 'Mind Objects') was conceived during a Design Class with the overarching objective of creating a lasting contribution to our country for the next half-century. This game was specifically tailored to engage Brazilian senior citizens in mental exercises, focusing on collaborative storytelling rooted in their recollections of various objects prompted by cards. Players had the opportunity to contribute to the narrative with their own memories, earning points in the process. The individual with the sharpest memory within the group for the evening was deemed the "winner."
Through playtesting, we discovered that simplicity was key to the game's accessibility, as overly complex rules hindered seniors from initially engaging with it.
Once they commenced playing, however, they found it challenging to stop.
This particular version of the game is available in Portuguese and features several refinements, including the removal of certain older rules, resulting in a streamlined and highly enjoyable experience, as evidenced by the positive reception from the depicted group.
