Typeface and Dream Dictionary
Day Dream is a typeface inspired by dream journals. As we dream our subconscious shows us exactly what we're too mannerly to bring up in everyday life. It almost reverts us back to our childhood. This typeface was rendered after second grade handwriting in a dream journal. Just as our dreams depict our personalities, so does our own calligraphy. Day Dream is made up of All Caps with fleurons.
Day Dream was later put into a dream dictionary to unveil different symbols and signs we come across in our dreams. With the varying weights within the typeface and fleurons, I hope to portray the varying moods and meanings in our dreams. I hope that all of us keep a child's spirit while we dream and keep an open mind.
